Bibicaffe + Glen garioch Single Malt Scotch=my new favorite drink.
I bet its even better with a good shot espresso instead of the Bibicaffe.
My back yard looks like eerything melted. [dead veggies corpses mangled] The only living things left is the grass and Kyles bonsais.
This week I start practice for Nationals, I mean it this time. [even though its not until Aprill]

I got 12th at the NW Annual Barista Competition 2006 in Portland.
In the Competition you have 15 min to make 4 espressos, 4 cappucinos, and 4 specialty drinks that are espresso based. My specialty drink was a juice made out Cabrenet Sag. [wine] grapes in fused with Blue Lotus and mulling spices.
I went with Kyle whom got 11th place, and 2 other people I work with. They got 5th and 6th, and the people from that only other Zoka which happened to be in Japan went too. There were about 23 people in the region.
In April I am going to Nationals at Long Beach California.

lately kyle and i have been thinking about moving to london before his visas' expire.
yet theres a minor set back at this time, we've been thinking about getting an extention on his visas and moving to oregon. theres a bike frame building school there kyle wants to goto, and i think i might want to goto bike school up in ashlond. also it would be good cause we have contacts at a coffee roastiera up there.

so kyle just found an old SERVER computer from 8 years ago that looks like its all intact. Also found an old mac laptop from 10 years ago; and a relatively new compaq computer. These are the random things we found at the youthcare storage that is going to be tossed in a dumpster. There is also a pool table that needs to be refurbished. Next week we'll have a van and pick that stuff up.
I like how technology has gotten to the point where you can pick up stuff like that for free.

Its' WHiSKEY Season again!
So I found out that the little sugar ants roaming around the kitchen have been longer tenants than the crack heads across the street.
Hopefully won't be spending much more than a few months at the notorious slum-lord Hue's house.
My roommate had told me the a bunch of old nazi skins used to take up the whole block. las year one of them had just gotten out of jail and told jdin that he had some "Precious stones" hidden under the stairwell.
.....yeah the precious stones must have been prrreeeettttyyy precious, how that he had remebered charming.

I'm currently in training to become a barista in seattle.
I'm taking a piad training class on all the best ways to make and pull espresso shots.
Its pretty cool they'll hook up internships with places and job placement.
Thats mainly whats been going on lately. The course is 8 weeeks long and can go longer if I choose to do more with it.
This is my 4th week of training and I happen to be on the job training at the 2100 Cafe in south seattle.
In a week and a half I will begin to work at the espresso cart at the downtown library.
I'm glad that shits comming together, currently I've been staying with Kyle camping in discory park until a room and Djin and Amy's opens up (10-20 days) in the U-dist. There is a crazy cat lady staying in the room we were going to rent, but 2nd eviction and shes still not leaving so it might be a while. Meanwhile we've been getting phone numbers for other rooms for rent.
Anyways I graduate from barista school on Oct 14th if anyone is interested free espresso!
Alots been going on lately and all but soon hopefully I will actaully have more contact with the outide world once i can get my shit together.

i finally got a job!
i work at rei in downtown seattle in the cycling department.
i've been going to classes for training this week and will probally start working next week.
it seems like things are getting more stable and i'll be able to get a hold of some of you kids soon.
i got a new bike, its an old bianchi from the late 60s or 70s. its missing some lettering so it reads "bi" on one side and "chi" on the other.
ps. its not a little kids road bike and its blue!

for the past 2 weeks some jackass junkies been staying with us, finally it might be finished completely.
we kicked him out cxause he was disrespectful to our guests, lied, broke in to our aparatment and lied about, attempted to break in, was up til 6-8am keeping us up, stealing, manipultated us and so on so on... we finally kicked him out and now his shits still here it takes up have of our apartment. he has until tomrrow to get it or we're throwing it out.
i feel mentally retarded from it all, i guess i just wanted to say trying to help out a junkie is lost cause. well if you ever see a man on broadway with a beautiful baby blue eyed husky beware, he'll probally try to rip you off and hes another dead soul on broadway. i've never met anyone i can truely say doesn't have a reason to exist.

well yesterday was odd, cool but weird.
i've been thinking about how immpossible it is to get a deccent job.
maybe i'm not suppossed to get a good job, but make one.
i went to red light yesterday and visited ashley with kyle.
theres a lot of people that make diy stuff there, i was thinkging of doing that with clothes.
i'd need to lean to screen print and use a sewing machine, though i think it would be worth it.
i wanted to become a tattoo artist but i don't know how logical that is for a while.
its tough to get an apprentice ship, so i wanted to practice on fruit when i got the equipment.
but my motivation is on hold for a little while.
i also made a short ass comic, i'll scan as soon as i get to a place i can scan it.

well i'm looking for a new job; i applied at a bunch of places but no reply yet.
thats really all thats new.
sorry for being immpossible to get a hold of, still don't have a phone.
i haven't seen some many people for ever, i guess the phone ordeal dosen't help. i also don't feel comfortable leaving the city. the busses suck unless its pretty close by, everywhere is at least 50 min away.
maybe i'm just getting lazy...
